Terms & Conditions

BOOKINGS

If you fill in our booking request form, this does not guarantee you a booking until you receive a response from Aroha Tiny House to confirm your dates are available and that your booking is confirmed.

  • This 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • The remaining 50% is payable on arrival.

  • Most credit/debit cards accepted. No fees

PAYMENT

Payment needs to be made on arrival at Aroha Tiny House​.

Cancellations / No SHOWS

If you need to cancel your booking, you must advise Aroha Tiny House via email or phone call of your intention to cancel your booking.

  • If you cancel your booking over 7 days before your stay, there is no cancellation fee.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, or do not show up for your stay, you will be required to pay the total booking amount.

We understand that plans can change and recommend that guests consider travel insurance to cover unexpected circumstances.

Check-In & Check-Out
  • Check-in: 2pm

  • Check-out: 11am

Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance, so that your host, Sarah can show you around the space and take your payment.

Breakfast

A simple breakfast is included in your stay. I try to cater to specific dietary needs, when requested, but do not make any guarantees. Please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Guest Responsibilities
  • The Tiny House is to be used by registered guests only.

  • Please respect the property, neighbours, and surrounding environment.

  • No parties or events are permitted.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Please notify your host, Sarah, of any damages or issues during your stay. Compensation may be requested for damages. 

Smoking & Pets
  • This is a smoke-free property.

  • Pets are not permitted. You will most likely see the host's cat, Tiger-Lily during your stay, as she loves to greet guests and hang out on the patio area.

Liability

​While we take care to ensure your comfort and safety, guests stay at their own risk. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury during your stay, except where required by New Zealand law.
